version 1.0.12 – now available

Version 1.0.12 fixes a defect in handling deletes on POP3 mailboxes. Under certain circumstances the most recent message will also get removed from a mailbox when a delete-on-server action is taken.

Under these circumstances an additional message is removed from the handheld, but not the server. No un-intentional delete take place on the server.

Version 1.0.12 resolves the problem which is caused by not fully parsing the UIDL response from the server.

This defect is isolated to POP3 mailboxes, including Yahoo! Plus. IMAP mailboxes, such as gmail are not impacted.

Registered users can download version 1.0.12 by using the download link in their download mail, or by going to and entering the email address that was originally used to register for tiggit mail. Exisiting license tokens will continue to work with this version.

Users should take care that any data that is stored within tiggit mail is kept elsewhere as this upgrade will cause all of the mailboxes to be erased.

The new version 1.0.12 (API 4.3 and above) doesn’t work on my BB8800 (FW 4.5). After the installation I get following error:

Error starting multiMail: Module ‘multiMail’ attempts to access a secure API

  2. tiggit says:

There was a problem with an upload, this should now be fixed, but if the problem persists please email

  3. Thomas says:

    Now I get the error:
Error starting multiMail: Module ‘tiggit VersionWrapper43’ must be signed with the RIM Runtime Code Signing Key (RRT)

  4. tiggit says:

There appears to be a problem with the 4.3 build script. For now I have put the API 4.2 version behind the latest models link, and have validated that this now works.

Hopefully, you should now be able to complete the upgrade.
